I have been coming to Zion for only 24 years. My husband, Michael Buscher, and I first came with our 3 year-old daughter, Elizabeth, because of the Sunday School and the 9:30 children’s service. We kept coming because of the warm, good-hearted people, and our daughter’s joyous involvement in choir. I became very seriously ill for 7 years, and the choir gave our family immense moral support, knowing those lovely people were helping Elizabeth through difficult years. Now I volunteer in the Thrift Shop and serve on the vestry to help Zion thrive and because I always enjoy the company and laughter.
