STEWARDSHIP
ANNUAL STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
Each year, we encourage our parish members to make a financial pledge to Zion, committing to support its mission and ministries on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Thanks to the generosity of those who contribute, we are able to employ a full-time rector and staff members, maintain our facilities and grounds, and fund ministries that positively impact our local community and beyond.
Tell Out My Soul

The theme for this year's Stewardship Campaign from The Episcopal Stewardship Network (TENS) is "Tell Out My Soul." This theme serves as a reminder to us of our individual journeys to Zion and our collective commitment to ministry. Sharing our stories and reflecting on them is meant to inspire us to share our stories with those outside our doors and to deepen our financial commitment to what we profess to value, our faith community.
The success of our stewardship campaign depends on uplifting content and the commitment and dedication of faithful people.

RECURRING ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS
A fantastic way to ensure you uphold your pledge commitment throughout the year is by setting up recurring electronic pledge payments. You can either manage this yourself through your bank's online bill pay system or arrange it directly with us using our electronic processor.
Using Your Bank's Billpay
Many banks offer the convenience of paying bills through their banking platforms, and most of these systems support recurring payments, allowing you to schedule automatic payments to specific payees.
If you're unsure about how to use your bank's online bill pay features, reach out to your local branch or the customer service department for help in setting up recurring payments. Here are a few tips:
-
If requested for an account number, please use the number found on your pledge envelopes. If you don't have envelopes, simply provide your family’s last name.
-
Ensure you enter Zion's address and phone accurately: 221 East Congress Street, Charles Town, WV 25414; (304) 725-5312.
Our Electronic Payment Processor
For assistance setting-up recurring payments with our online payment processor, please contact our parish office.
AN EASY WAY TO SUPPORT ZION
Food Card Sales
Here's how it works: Zion purchases Food Cards from local grocery stores: Martin's, Weis, Food Lion, and Sheetz. Individuals then purchase Food Cards from Zion and Zion receives 10% of the face value of every card sold. For example: If you purchase a $100.00 Martin's Food Card, you then use the $100.00 card to help pay for your weekly groceries and Zion makes $10.00!

Food Cards are sold after each of our Sunday morning services and are also available to purchase at our parish office, Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 2 pm.
All profits from sales of Food Cards from local grocery stores directly support our operating budget.
