VESTRY NEWS
The vestry is the body within the congregation that, with the clergy, leads the parish, acting as the "agents and legal representatives of the Parish in all matters concerning its corporate property."
(Canons of the Episcopal Church, Title 1.14).
The vestry helps to discern the vision toward which God is drawing the community of faith, articulates and communicates the vision to the congregation, holds the community accountable for its realization of that vision, keeps the mission of the church before the parish community, and acts in the best interest of the parish as a whole.
Our vestry meets on the “second” Wednesday of the month in the parlors or our Mason House. All are welcome to attend vestry meetings.
