Ken Fanelli
Clerk of the Vestry
Kenneth Fanelli has been a congregant at Zion Episcopal since 2009. He first served on the vestry from 2011 through 2015 and as Senior Warden from 2013 through 2015, during which time he was a vocal advocate of online giving technology, creative stewardship approaches and promoting Zion during its bicentennial observance.
At the diocesan level, Ken served on the Stewardship Commission from 2013 through 2018 and as the lay representative of the Eastern Deanery on the Diocesan Council from 2019 through 2022.
Over the past three years, Ken has served on the vestry and acted as its clerk and recording secretary. He enjoys volunteering as a lector and usher at the 10:30 a.m. service. His other volunteer pursuits include serving as a member of the Jefferson Arts Council and as a poll
commissioner on Election Day.
In 2017, after working in the nonprofit publishing industry as a writer, editor and marketer for three decades, Ken began a second career as a substitute teacher for the Jefferson County Public Schools.
Ken is a father of three adult children and a grandfather of two little granddaughters. He lives in Fairfax Crossing, Ranson, with his wife, Lucy Bradford and stepson Patrick.
