Lent at Zion

The season of Lent reminds us of the 40 days that
Jesus spent in the wilderness

being tempted by the devil who reminded him of his suffering.   The last week of the season, Holy Week, is a time when we remember the events leading to Jesus' crucifixion (Good Friday) and his ultimate victory over execution by rising to life again  which we celebrate on Easter.
